Zeffy is the friendliest platform to nonprofits in that they do not take a percentage off of the donation. In order to do this they do request an additional donation to offset their efforts and it is sometimes by default a large ask. We encourage you to contribute, but if you’d rather not please select “other” and “$0” and you should not be charged any additional amount. Thank you so much for your support!

Keeping Drawathon free isn’t free. Every year, we need to fund art supplies for a thousand participants, compensate the talented artists who lead sessions, secure and prepare the venue with paper-coated walls, and provide the infrastructure for a safe 24-hour event. We operate without ticket sales or fundraising drives during the event itself because we believe art should be accessible to everyone.

That’s where you come in. Your donation, whether $5, $20, $100, or more, directly supports the materials, artists, and space that make this unique experience possible. You’re not just funding an event; you’re investing in a tradition that has brought healing, connection, and creative expression to New Orleans for two decades.
